Webmentions for awfulwoman.com

This server sends and receives Webmentions for https://awfulwoman.com/. A Webmention is a notice that one web page links to another: a reply, a like, a repost, or just a mention.

How it works

1. You link to a page on the site and send a Webmention to /webmention, with the address of your page (source) and ours (target). Most blogging tools do this for you, because every page on the site advertises this endpoint.
2. The server fetches your page and checks that it links to ours.
3. A person reviews it, unless it is a like or repost from Bridgy or comes from a site that is already trusted.
4. Approved mentions show under the page they are about.

Things you can use

• Send a Webmention by hand, with a form.
• /webmention/{id}: the status of a mention you sent. The address comes back in the Location header when you send one.
• All approved mentions as JSON.
• /mentions?target=/some/page/: the approved mentions for one page, as JSON. For example /mentions?target=/.
• Health: whether the server is running.
